Postermania 2000 is pleased to be a part of the exhibition, "Chaplin in Pictures", presented from June 7 through September 18, 2005, at the Jeu de Paume Museum, 1 Place de la Concorde, Paris. The exhibition will then travel to Kunsthal Rotterdam, October 1, 2005 to January 15 2006, and Deichtorhallen Hamburg from February to May 2006.

This exhibition, drawing on the archives of the Chaplin family, illustrates the history of the actor and public character, and the development of the myth of Charlot, through a rich collection of media, including press albums, compiled by the Chaplin Studio, evoking Chaplin and the times, as well as film extracts, movie stills, and 8mm home movies.

Postermania 2000 participation includes the loan of 10 rare Chaplin posters for this important exhibition. We also offer a magnificent book exploring the career of Chaplin through his movie posters, in English and French. Visit our Books section to find out more.
